Typical Day in Role
• Contributing to the success of Oracle Migration project
• Manage the collection of business requirements and preparation of functional requirements for development to build
• Prepare test cases and plans and execute those test cases in the required timelines, ensuring deliverables conform to business requirements
• Conduct regression testing
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with business stakeholders, various technology teams and production support teams.
• Assist in resolving complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the system needs for FX trading business by applying your business and technological knowledge to perform analysis, reconciliations, defining user requirements, etc.
• Test, validate, create artifacts, and assist in deployment of solutions to production environment
• Working primarily with global markets data
• Research, formulate, and perform data-driven analytics using SQL
• Looking at data attributes (related to FX) and ensuring that the data is accurate and complete. Ensure that what is fed from upstream is accurate (investigation, analysis, altering format to fit system format, etc.)
• May be expected to look into downstream reporting to assist with building out some reports
• Will be working internally with the project team, other BSAs, Developers, as well as with some business users
Must Have Skills/Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience within in the capacity of a BA/BSA (including regression testing)
• 3+ years’ recent experience in Capital Markets technology space
• 5+ years’ professional experience writing and designing SQL queries (intermediate to advanced skills)
• Hands-on experience with the SDLC (testing and technical specifications), as well as a strong understanding of configurations, technical mappings, data attributes
Nice to have Skills:
• Wallstreet FX experience is a great asset
• Experience supporting database upgrades
• Working knowledge of Unix

Best vs Average:
• Seeking resources with strong BSA backgrounds (with strong regression testing experience). This role is data centric, and data experience is critical for consideration. Wallstreet FX is a great asset.
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
